Vocational Training Recognising the need to start the recruitment and  careers advice for potential work based trainees, the Academy has initiated a unique link with local schools. Since July 1998 Vocational  training courses have been taking place with students from local  comprehensive schools achieving Beauty Therapy NVQ Level I and working towards Progression awards. Many of the students have secured employment in the industry and the network of salon owners is now regularly in contact with the Academy to fill their recruitment needs. The reports from the schools, and employers has been extremely positive  with this proving to be a most valuable development in the careers advice for students whilst still at school.
